It is always a bright day with a Helles in your glass. While the cold and darkness of winter may tip the scales, have a pint and catch-up with friends to warm the season and bring a bit of balance!

Pours a dark golden color with a small white head that faded quickly very dark for the style . Smell is malty and bready not so floral or hoppy. Taste is malty with caramel baked bread some fruit . A medium full mouth feel not as crisp or quenchable as i would have liked . Skip this one if you are looking for a traditional Helles.

Very tasty Helles lager with a bit of a twist. It's very malty with more Vienna malt notes rather than Pilsner malt notes although it could have both. I couldn't find much information on it but the malt flavor comes across prominently grainy with biscuits, and honey like impressions. I really like it. Lightly carbonated but clean and loaded with malt flavor. Like I said maybe not a perfect fit for the style but a great drinking beer. A little darker in color than most in this style.

16oz pour
Blonde color, clearish, kinda cloudy, with almost no head (a trend with this brewery). Smells and tastes light, but heavy on the grain. Very bready and "warm", made for a good sipper, surprisingly.
Solid heft to this german style lager

On-tap at Stone Arch, MSP Airport, Minneapolis, MN
A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that eventually completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of breads malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of biscuity and bready malts with a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but the malts feel a little weaker compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: on-tap
