Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance- The beer pours a hazy golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heavy of a honey wheat bread smell mixed with some aromas of a musty and dank smell. Along with these smells comes a touch of caramel and a bit of toast.
Taste - The taste begins with a very heavy wheat taste with a bit of a caramel and honey sweetness mixed within. As the taste moves forward more and more honey comes to the tongue being joined by some flavors of a toasted bread taste with a little bit of a grass and herb, leaving one with a easy drinking and flavorful brew.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the beer style, the feel the brew is a nice and creates an easy sipping beverages.
Overall – An overall easy drinking brew with a nice honey wheat tasty and easy drinking feel.

An okay beer, but not one to seek out. Bought a six pack during a recent trip to Austin.
Poured from a can into a hefe glass. Fairly clear yellow color with an okay head and lacing. Smell is a bit sweet and grassy. Flavor is pretty so-so, not much of the honey and molasses coming through.
