Tried this beer in cans from my local convenience store and was severely disappointed. Gave up after a few sips. This beer tastes as though grain alcohol was added to up the ABV. There’s an unnatural sweetness at the start, finished by an unpleasant alcohol taste.

CAN nabbed at a beer store in Austin, TX:
Bubblegum phenol is a bit rampant in this, eclipsing the hops - not that the hop profile is particularly interesting.
Drinks like a pale ale. Lacks hop pungency and depth of flavour, but it's drinkable for what it is.
Not a beer I'd revisit. Definitely seems like the kind of fare you'd expect from a new brewery.
