12 ounce can, no dating I noticed on it. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, bready malt and some herbalness. For the most part I think the taste follows the aroma, but there's also some honey sweetness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. Thought this was a good enough overall coffee ale, certainly worth trying if you're into these kinds of brews!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little ale pours a clear
golden with a very nice head of white foam that settles to a thick fat
layer with very nice lacing. Nose of light breaded malts, faint coffee,
caramel, and honey with light herbal notes. Flavors follow the nose
but exceed with a very nice presentation of light coffee, honey,
light bread with subtle crust, and light herbal hop on the rear of the
taste. Mouth feel is medium, smooth, medium light carbonation, and
a lightly bitter hop and coffee finish.

Overall, a pretty nice little brew.

Poured from a recently filled can into a pint glass.

Appearance: A pretty beer: pure gold, with a massive white head that dissipated rather quickly after requiring two pours to keep it from overflowing the glass. Adequate lacing.

Nose: Bread, mild.

Mouthfeel: Medium.

Attack: A little sweet, gentle, the mild bread flavor follows the nose; not as flavorful as some blonde/golden ales. I'm also not picking up much coffee, though this is branded as a coffee blonde ale. The flavor profile comes out more as the ale warms, which is less usual for a lighter beer like this that I generally enjoy colder.

Finish: The bitterness here is perhaps the evidence of the coffee.

Overall: Very drinkable. This would be a good session ale if it had more flavor. It might pair OK with a Caesar Salad, maybe a Caesar with chicken? I don't object to drinking it, but am not sure I'd buy another six pack if I wanted a blonde/golden ale and there was something more flavorful available. I wouldn't buy it if I was truly wanting something with coffee.

Addendum: I'm tasting a second one today — the one I just poured for my wife, actually — and I'm picking up a little more coffee than yesterday, both in the nose and the attack. Chalk it up to my weird, apparently inconsistent taste buds! So, I'm upping both the nose, taste, and overall numbers a quarter point each.
