On tap at the brewery into a pint glass.
Translucent copper color. Gentle pour-very little head or lacing.
Sweet bready smell, caramel. Nose wasn't very strong.
Taste follows. Bready, caramel, light roast notes.
Medium bodied. medium carbonation.
Pretty true to style, enjoyable Marzen.

12 oz. can.
No canning date.
Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a bright copper body with lacing. Nose of slightly toasted malt, slight caramel, and slight spice. Taste mirrors nose with the slight sweetness of caramel throughout to a semi-dry finish with a bit of hop bitterness. Nice feel and overall, a solid Marzen/Oktoberfest from St. Albans, VT.
Cheers!!!

Can to glass mug.
The appearance was a rich semi-murky bronzed copper to amber color. A small eggshell white foamy head slid off appropriately. Just a wispy mild lace, slightly concave.
The aroma paired mild toasty to nutty malts to some light grassy to earthy hop tones.
The flavor leaned towards the malty sweet side with some developing clean hoppy hints with a little bit of warmth. Very mild aftertaste of nuttiness, toast and caramel/toffee qualities.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a wonderful sessionability about it. Good carbonation and a clean finish of smooth malts, no stickiness whatsoever anywhere in this beer.
Overall, wow, for the style this is exceptional! Damn nice find coming out of St Albans.
