Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt yellow to orange color with a short cropped white foamy head. Messy semi-bubbly and semi-foamy lace.
The aroma had some lemony sweet hop characteristics. Small semi-piney hoppiness flowing in. Some grassiness.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side initially throwing together the lemony hops to the grassy hops. Aftertaste takes all of those prior mentioned tastes and adds in a stronger piney note than I expected.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and some hoppy bitterness. Finishes crisp with some lemony hop notes.
Overall, pretty nice APA worthy of coming back to.

Picked up at the Smokehouse last Saturday. Pours a mild golden/blonde hue with a frothy head into my glass. Light citrus aroma in the nose, likely mango. Chewy, juicy bitter citrus melds perfectly with buttery malt. Clean finish with minimal burn. It's a pretty decent pale ale that works on a day when you don't want an IPA but you still want that citrus hop punch. Get it while it lasts.
