Can marked 6.2%. Can purchased from Winooski Beverage.
The pour shows a light semi-hazy burnt yellow color but yields more of a darker burnt orange woody color in my English pint glass. Slight messy lace.
The aroma definitely did what Mill River was shooting for, that strawberry bubblegum is absolutely in front with a mild grassy hop note riding in underneath.
The flavor seemed to mesh well between the strawberry bubblegum sweetness to the grassy hops. Barely any aftertaste but what was there had some grassy hops with bubblegum sweetness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice low carbonation as expected for a New England styled one. Semi-smooth and slightly crisp in the finish with enough hops to tell me this is an IPA.
Overall, it's an IPA I'd have again and quite unique in its originality. Way to go to the ladies in St Albans and their crew for pulling this one off quite nicely.
