Canning date unknown. Pours a hazy dark blonde hue with a thin head into my glass. Grapefruit and melon rind are two dominant aromas that I can pick out. This translates to the taste as well with an surprisingly clean melon and grapefruit finish. That's just my taste buds. 9.2% is quite high so I need to make sure to sip, not quaff.

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a murky paper orange to brown muddy color with a flimsy falling off white foamy head. Didn't really want to stick around at all. Some filmy lace dotting my glass and sliding out.
The aroma had some "iced pear", touch of cardboard, Vidalia onion, grassiness, citrus pith and a whiff of a biscuity malt.
The flavor leaned towards an old school bitterness throttling itself into some semi-sweet malty biscuits and old bread. Aftertaste of malty caramel/toffee earthy tones.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt as good as an American DIPA could be. Finishes brisk with some tobacco-leafy dryness and earthy character, subtle biscuit malts.
Overall, I did try a sample of this two weeks ago from the brewer on draft but honestly I have to admit this in a can is not exactly the best job by them.
