16 ounce can with no discernible date, although we rec'd a case earlier this month.
Moderate pour yields a one inch tan head over a near black body with scant lacing.
Nose of roasted dark malt and slight chocolate malt with a slightly burnt character as well.
As it warms a bit of milk chocolate aroma comes through.
Taste is very roasty, with flavors of bitter chocolate, burnt toast...
and slight bitter dark roast coffee (?)
Average to good feel with low to medium carbonation.
Overall, if you like extra roasted anything, this is right in your wheelhouse.
I kinda like it more as it warms and loses some of that burnt roastiness.
Cheers!

Can. Dark brown almost black with loose head that bubbles off. Earthy robust slightly smoky dark chocolate aroma. SWeet chocolately slightly nutty with medium fig yeastiness and robust woody finish. Medium body could have had slightly more carbo to pull it together, a little oily, but flavorful and sessionable, which is what a porter should be.
