Poured via an intimidating thirty-two ounce crowler into Nonick pint glass. Beer purchased in the taproom 10/1, canned same day I believe.
Pours a dark golden wildflower honey, translucent golden thickness that's cut only by an unrelenting bombardment of effervescence from the bottom of the glass. Half finger creamy head sticks around well after the pour
Smell has a brief salvo of unripe melon that dissipates way too quickly and takes a backseat to scant aromas of honeydew with wisps of bubblegum.
Taste is a bare knuckle brawl between malty caramel soaked flavors and an aggressive bitterness you'd expect to find in a double IPA. Irresistibly complex, fantastic character.
Incredible mouthfeel, great body and a lingering bitterness that refuses to let you forget each sip. The "one that got away, lady of your dreams" beer .
This isn't your standard Hop Bomb you'd expect in New England, it exists in it's own world. Unique and unapologetically sweet and bitter simultaneously. You've never had this beers twin elsewhere. Insanely enjoyable and worth experiencing.
High Recommendation
Cheers!
