With a new brew house on the horizon and our time with our original brew house coming to an end we decided to push it to the limit one last time. We figured there is no beer we have brewed more than Ecstasy of Gold in our 2+ year since we opened, lets go big with it! We maxed out in every way we could imagine and in turn what we have is a massively textured full bodied Triple IPA that is jam packed with flavor and true to Ecstasy of Gold we find it to be refined and balanced!

Can from Tfontana, thanks for the new brewery tick!
Sweet bready malt, seltzer and hints of alcohol on the nose. Flavor is sweet toasty bready and light caramel maltiness with a solid spicy alcohol. Some citrus and tropical hop notes, but not nearly enough for a triple IPA.

Canned 6/30/20, good beer for the Bs game given it has black and gold in the label, and from MA.
Pours a very large almost 3 finger head that forces me to stop pouring, frothy white head with med retention, tons of soapy lacing, hazy cloudy pale orange color

Nose brings loads of citrus and some tropical fruit, tangerine, nectarine, mango, juicy peach, another tropical I can't put my finger one, somewhere between papaya and Jack fruit, maybe pineapple, sweet doughy malt, flash of smooth alcohol

Taste brings some of teh malt out front, sweet doughy creamy malt, a little grist and flaked wheat/oats a bit pithy as well, then loads of fruit again, more mango, peach, nectarine, light citrus but a nice generic tropical, pineapple as well, light bitterness, a light candy sweetness, touch of smooth alcohol, mild sweet but fairly dry finish, touch more bitterness, some peach skin and nectarine lingering

Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, rich creamy soft juicy, alcohol hidden well, med to higher foamy carb

Overall very nicely done. I liked the original and this goes the extra step of greatness, glad to see another MA brewery producing some really good beers.
