Pouring a golden hazy yellow, HOPSMOKER is brimming with notes of pineapple gummies, bubble gum, and pine. This beer will hit you with a juicy burst of flavor and leave you with a resinous finish coating on your tongue. Utilizing a hop blend of Galaxy, Simcoe, & CTZ with an addition of terpenes post fermentation, we have fully realized the beer we dream of when the green clouds are wafting from our kettle. Drop out of life with beer in hand, Follow the smoke toward the riff-filled land.

It seems that brewers are moving away from NEIPA and experimenting with different hop combos and terpenes. A mixed bag.
I ordinarily enjoy beers from this brewer.
This was weird.
Overwhelming aroma and taste: grassy and hops. No fruit.
Brewed well but not my type of style.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a murky gold-amber with a brief off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is very juicy grapefruit, pineapple, and apricot, with a decided pine presence. Has a nice bite to it. Mouthfeel is fairly thick. Finish is another dose of juicy citrus, fading to a pronounced bitterness at the back of the tongue. Overall, a very good DIPA. I'm quite impressed with Widowmaker.

Can. I mean I can't pick up a beer created in the mold of Sleep's magnum opus. I am gonna skip the specifics of this super turbid, opaque New England Double IPA. If anyone sees this review. Allow yourself ~75 minutes to listen to the single song classic. I'm doing it now as a matter of fact. Cheers.
Oh, the beer was decent.

Turbid dark yellow. You know how some big stouts are described as looking like motor oil, this looks like miso soup that's the wrong color. white head, great retention and lace, though
Pineapple, passionfruit, some pine
Pine is much more there in the flavor, more passionfruit
Heavy with lower carb. Nice bitter finish and isn't as sticky as most hazies are.
I like this better than like 95% of the hazy IPAs I've had. That being said, it's a butt ugly beer, and when your "Stoner inspired Imperial India Pale Ale" is named Hopsmoker, and the label art is a tribute to Sleep's "Dopesmoker", I expect it to smell like weed. Pine, herbal, dank! Not this fruity stuff.
