Collaboration with Equilibrium Brewery
As we gear up for a week of family and friends we thought it was time we called in the Equilibrium fam to brew a follow up to our first collaboration! Our first exploration took us to the depths of multiple galaxies where this voyage has us being pulled closer to home. Astral Projections into the Earth’s Stratosphere pours a hazy yellow with a cream like texture and tasting notes of mango, pineapple, watermelon, and fruit starburst thanks to a generous hopping combination of Strata, Citra, and Rakau Hops.

Pours cloudy gold color with a 2 finger thick foamy off-white head that faded and left very nice foamy lacing. Smells of pineapple, orange juice, tangerine, grapefruit, papaya, tropical fruit and some sweet malt as it fades. Tastes very fruity with peaches, pink grapefruit, lime and pineapple up front, followed by sweet brown sugar, biscuit, chalky yeast, coriander, fruity candy like Starburst or Razzles, some more tropical fruit and then what seems like a combo of wet hops and dry hops. Good stuff.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 11/22/21. Pours a very hazy yellow with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves thing streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Aroma is passionfruit, honeydew, mandarin, apricot, and a little grapefruit rind. 4.5
Taste follows passionfruit, mandarin, honeydew, apricot, and a little pink grapefruit really well balanced. 4.5
Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation almost creamy, not dry or sticky, and at 8.2% big flavor but easy going down. 4.75
Overall this stuff is really good and well made. So many collaborations these days and I have found most have been really solid. This is worth a try for sure. 4.5
