Green Wizard is a West Coast IPA brewed with Four Star Farms' Centennial and Cascade hops. We wanted to brew something a little different so we created this super balanced, extremely drinkable ripper with some of the freshest hops grown locally. Coming in at 6.66% abv in celebration of our 666th batch and pouring clear and bright with a beautiful copper color, this beer smells like you are walking through a dense northern forest, and tastes like honeycomb, grapefruit pith and the stickiest of the icky.

An easy pour released two fingers of off-white creamy foam with very long retention and large blotches of lacing. Semi-clear golden-straw body, yellow-straw in bright light.
Citrus hops greet the nose with substantial malt aromas (cracker, biscuit and white bread and toast). In the background, piney hops, toasted grainy wheat and faint alcohol.
Semi-dry with above average hop flavor and bitterness, herbal hop flavor appears and balances with the citrus and pine. The middle is hop controlled with citrus leading (lemon, lime then grapefruit), followed by a big malt taste (a blend of toasted barley, wheat and grain). Faint taste of alcohol, acceptable for a 6.66% ABV. Remaining semi-dry throughout, the finish is surprisingly low on bitterness and high on hop flavor featuring pine. Pine and the remnants of malt linger.
Medium bodied with above average carbonation, balanced with a soft malty feel.
This is one of the best West Coast IPAs I have enjoyed from an East Coast brewery.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- The beer is served a very lightly hazed golden amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is strongest of a cracker malt mixed with a good showing of resinous pine and some grapefruit. Along with these comes notes of tropical fruits of tangerine, mango, and papaya, along with a touch of honey and grass.
Taste- The taste begins with a cracker malt mixed with notes of orange and tropical fruits along with a touch of caramel. The west coast nature also shines through, with a decent showing of pine along with notes of grapefruit hop. As the taste advances the sweet dries out, all while the hops get more intense, taking the taste to its end and leaving one with a dank and crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body is rather light and crisp with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall - A very nice, crisp, and more resinous brew.

4oz: Lovely lacing with soapy head. Nose is light citrus, cracker, grassy. Near classic WCIPA, bitter pith+pine finish. Medium body, bitter linger.

Golden color with the mildest of hazes. Modest head which retains a film throughout the tasting. Good steaks and spots remain after each sip.
Mostly pale malt with an apricot background. Very light floral hop.
Interesting start with a bland malt but this quickly morphs into berry presence. Still, it remains dry throughout. The neutral body feels thinner due to the higher carbonation level than expected. The hop is quiet until the swallow where it becomes bitingly strong, leaving a lengthy aftertaste.

Picked up a single can at Cedarville Wine and Spirits for about four dollars. My tenth brew from these guys. Canned on date of 7/14/25. Solid, not great.

The beer didn’t get exemplary reviews. Great color: dark copper with a four finger head in spiegelau IPA glass. Better tasted on the colder side. Very piney or “woodsy” flavors as a brewer suggests. What distinguishes this beer from other West Coast IPAs is that it has a very mild finish, it’s not hoppy. Quite enjoyable!
