LACED AND CRISPY is our version of an Italian Pilsner that we have dubbed a South Shore Lager Beer. This is our love letter to South Shore bar pizza, named after the way we order it around these parts.
We decocted this with a grain bill of Eraclea pilsner, hopped it with some Tettnang in the kettle. After about 4 weeks of lagering we transferred this beer under pressure on to some Noble Simcoe hops. This hop forward lager is crispy like the crust with tasting notes of subtle lemon zest, cracker and some dank undertones.
Our team has put in the research, hours and hours spent destroying every bar pie spot around. We’ve argued endlessly about which pie is best, there will never really be an answer we can all agree on, but what we can definitely say that we all think this beer is the beer best paired with your favorite pie.
Clear gold liquid, frothy two finger white foam cap , stringy lacings
Aroma is malty
Taste is biscuity, yeast
Light, crisp mouthfeel
Good beer
