Hazy tawny brown with a thin off white head that quickly dissipates. Earthy bready caramel with a hint of chocolate.Balance a bit to the hops. nice brew

Canned 2023/10/04
Pours a rich frothy 1/2 finger tan head with moderate retention, a bit of lacing, hazy copper to auburn-brown color
Nose a bit muted at first, then some biscuity toasted brown malts, brown sugar sweetness into a bit of molasses and toffee, sweet bread crust, a hint nutty,
Taste brings more of the toasted biscuity malts up front, some nutty toffee and a bit of caramelized sugar, molasses, a bit nutty overall but more like cashew, faint hint of a roasted note, crust of sweet bread, rich bread crust actually, hint of earthy hop in the background, drier finish
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, med to a bit lighter carb, tad syrupy
Overall meh, I know brown ales are more on the boring side in general but I've had quite a few that have been really interesting, this was more on the bland side with not much to it other than the sweet characters and bread crust
