Pours a foamy frothy semi dense 1 finger tan head with good retention, lots of sticky lacing, dark black color
Nose brings sweeter malt aromas, chocolate marshmallow, nougat, some caramel but not candy bar like, a bit of roast in the background, coffee and cream, light earthy spicy hop
Taste brings mild roast up front, again that coffee and cream character, a hint of cocoa powder, mild caramel and vanilla but not particularly sweet, some nougat as well, then starts to get a bit creamy almost coffee milk blended with chocolate milk, light earthy spicy hop with med to low bitterness blended with bitterness from the roasted malts, semi dry finish, a bit more spicy hops lingering
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, creamy like, med to a bit higher frothy carb
Overall pretty good, solid easy drinking stout
