Copenhagen 10/8 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. White, yellow and green can with Rooster’s pretty cool logo with a rooster in black and red.
Pours slightly unclear golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a distinct scent of citrus fruit. Caramel and bread. Grapefruit and lemon. Citrus. Hint of soap.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Solid Indian Pale Ale of the classic variety.

Little under-carbonated, citra hops are notable with their lemony bitterness. Overall a bit disappointed and surprised with the high rating.

Looks deep golden when poured, slightly hazy. Huge fine head. Very hoppy and fruity on the nose, taste about the same. Maybe it was my can but there was very little carbonation which isn‘t my taste at all. Overall not my beer.

Pours gold with lasting white head from unfiltered 330ml can.
Taste is a syrupy fruity sensation. I think the highlight of this beer is its full body and mouthfeel.

330ml can. Clear, orange/amber colour with no carbonation and a thin cap. Spicy, cooked citrus smell. Rich taste of tropical fruit, vintage marmalade and pine. Dense mouthfeel but not syrupy. Decent, fruity AIPA. Not particularly complex but dangerously easy-drinking.

I have to rate this beer on what it is not what I would have wanted. I bought a couple of their beers as I was fascinated as to why a brewery in Yorkshire - home to some of the finest English ales should want to debase their county's style with an American IPA given the USA has no real clue as to how a proper IPA (an English beer) should taste.
I would of course wanted a heavily hoped, high ABV, Barley malt ONLY IPA so if you think I can damn them I can't 'cause its really quite nice with one big reservation.
Looks fine copper hue with a frothy pure white foam. It is refreshing taste aside dry and bitter but, the emphasis is on tropical fruit to the point that the taste sensors just pick up tropical fruit - the malt & hops are lost - maybe not so bad as the beer was adulterated with Wheat.
I have to rate it reasonable high as the dry bitter taste is really good the flavour sorry not to my taste - if I wanted fruit I could have drunk a cordial.

A 330ml can with no visible BB date. Purchased a while back from the brewery (in July). The label describes it as a 100% Citra-hopped IPA that delivers a variety of fruity aromas and packs a punch (hence the name).
A: Poured into an IPA glass. A rich amber hue with faint haze and plentiful carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a persistent surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of pungent fruitiness with hints of stone fruit, citrus, mild peel, white grape, caramel malt, light grain, ale yeast and subtle earthiness. A twinge of diacetyl in the background. Rather good.
T: Tastes of intense fruitiness with notes of stone fruit, grapefruit, citrus zest, peel, white grape, caramel malt, grain, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Quite dry, followed by a robust hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body. Lightly astringent. Aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, stone fruit, citrus, caramel malt and earthy yeast.
O: Very nice - a rounded, fruity American IPA. Looks the part, while the aroma and flavour are stuffed with citrus and fruit notes underpinned by caramel malt and yeast. Good body. Goes down a treat; a hop-head's delight. Well worth sampling if you have the chance.
