Tasted this beer by a pint at my local Wetherspoon in East End London, on 5 June 05.
Appearance: clear, dark yellowish hue with a thin, off-white rocky head full of big bubbles which manage to sustain throughout the drink and leave spongy lace on the glass. Very beautiful looking indeed.
Smell: lemony, light juicy grapefruity nose dominated by hops straight forward but pleasant~~
Taste & Aftertaste: mouthful of deliciously zesty, lemony hops and a floral and aromatic hoppy savour at the back followed by warmish, slightly sweet pale ale malts; the finish is very dry, underlined by good depth of bitterness which lingers quite well.
Mouthfeel & Drinkability: very flavour some if compared with its light, refreshing body; the overall mouthfeel covers the best of both worlds--round initially and dry in the finish. A sensational, extremely quaffable summer bitter!
