This beer has a nice pale colour but the foam/head was thin and quickly disappeared. It was totally lacking in the smells I would have expected from an IPA. The ABV is not that I would expect from a real IPA too low, there is no such thing as a session IPA. IPA is high ABV, hoppy and made with Barley malt with no added Wheat for goodness sake. Taste bland and thin. Sorry this 'IPA' is more akin to a tinned Euro lager.

A 330ml can with a BB of Dec 2017. Purchased recently from the brewery. The label describes it as a session IPA hopped with Amarillo, Chinook, Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin.
A: Poured into a tulip. A bright golden hue with faint haze and light carbonation. Produces a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a minute or so before subsiding to a patchy surface layer.
S: Aroma of intensely fruity hops with hints of grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, gooseberry, ale yeast, faint pale malt and subtle earthiness. Very nice.
T: Tastes of vivid aromatic hops with notes of grapefruit, citrus, peel, tropical fruit, subtle stone fruit, ale yeast, pale malt, faint grain and a mild earthiness in the background. A robust, hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with soft carbonation and decent body. Could be a shade thicker and livelier. Aftertaste of bitter fruity hops, citrus, earthy yeast and faint malt.
O: Excellent - a bright, fruity session IPA that crackles with hop character. Looks OK; head retention could be better. The aroma and flavour are great, with tons of fruity hops backed up by subtle malt. Body is alright but a tad thin. Very drinkable - goes down a treat. Well worth sampling if you come across it.
