A classic approach to a style of beer first developed in Victorian London. Roasted malt and chocolate flavours are abound in London Thunder, a smooth, dark porter brewed using a blend of seven malts and English hops.

Cask At Crosse Keys, City of London. Almost black. Thin foamy ring. No lace. Aroma nice dark toast and charred prune and hint of licorice. Taste nice full dark toast with prunes, hints of figs, light sweetness and dry roastiness and light leafy bitterness to balance out. Not outstanding but very good and very enjoyable and drinkable, easy to drink with enough complexity to keep it going. Very good. A nice traditional English porter.
