Poured from 750mL bottle into a tulip. This is labeled as a "blended sour farmhouse ale with guava". Batch #2.
Appearance: super duper hazy golden-yellow hue with a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop. I think it's perfectly cromulent.
Smell: earthy, fruity, and tropical, with plenty of guava. There's a sourness present, but it's not overpowering. It's quite nice.
Taste: bright, puckery sourness right up front, and really throughout the flavor. There's plenty of earthy guava fruitiness as well, but the sourness is ka-blam prominent. I think it's quite good, but it could have a subtler balance.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a moderate carbonation and OK creaminess.
Overall: I like this beer, but the sourness is a bit heavy to be a delightfully quaffable beverage.
