From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This nice "Experimental #2" as it is
also called brew pours a moderately hazy amber tinged golden with a nice head
of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and shows some
subtle lacing. Nose of mild coffee, moderate roasted notes, caramel malts,
semisweet chocolate notes (nibs), and hints of vanilla. Flavors present a fantastic
array of flavors. Subtle cold pressed coffee and sweet caramel mingle with light roasted
malts and semisweet cocoa with a touch of vanilla and subtle cream. Nice mouth feel;
light carbonation, medium body, smooth, and finishing slightly dry.
Overall a solid little brew from an up and coming brewery that deserves some respect
for having a fantastic selection of quality brews.
Cheers
