Blackberry Imperial Stout
Sons of Toil Brewing

From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This nice imperial pours a
deep almost purple black with a nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick
ring, thin light layer, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of blackberry
preserves with cocoa, roast, and subtle coffee. Flavors follow the nose with
a mild coffee and roast note slathered in blackberry jam and dashed with
dark cocoa and light char. Nice mouth feel; full/medium full body, smooth,
rich, medium light carbonation, and a lightly dry and subtly coating bitter
malt and berry finish.

Only 2 years brewing.....they are hitting it out of the park. Excellent brew!
