A nice and smooth American Porter. Nothing fancy just a roasty, easy drinking beer.

From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This mighty fine
porter pours a rich dark brownish black with thin cola highlights
and a thick head of off white foam that subsides to a thin ring, light
layer, and displays some nice sudsy lacing. Nose of light cocoa, mild
coffee, and mild dark roasted notes with dark brown sugars and a
touch of char. Flavors nicely follow the nose with a finely roasted
malt over moderately dark coffee and semi-sweet bakers chocolate
that has been touched with char and brulee with a touch of subtle
herbal hops. Nice mouth feel; medium verging on a full body, smooth,
medium carbonation, and a rich and roasted finish.
Overall, a SOLID little brew that is worthy.
Cheers
