22 ounce bottle, bottled 4-19-24, label says 11.5% ABV. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a Teku, the beer pours a slightly hazy dark gold color with not quite an inch off-white head that stuck around a little while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like bourbon, oak, clove, coriander, vanilla and some candy sugar. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some peach, pear and earthy flavors. No one flavor overpowers the others, and there's a nice amount of barrel character here. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of soft carbonation. I thought this was pretty good, definitely worth picking up if you get the chance!

From the 22 oz bomber bought at the brewery and enjoyed
in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a nice murky chill hazed
amber tinged golden with a nice head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin clumping pool, and sports some nice light
lacing. Nose of faint oak, light candy sugar, orchard fruit
notes, and subtle Belgian spice. Flavors nail it with light
clove, spicy coriander, sweet Belgian candy sugars, light
vanilla, oak, and herbal hops notes all perfectly
balanced and delicious. Nice mouth feel; smooth,
lightly creamy, lightly warming, medium light carbonation
that is subtly effervescent, and a lightly dry finish
with notes of peach and pear.

Overall, a VERY nice example of the style in a
more "rustic" sense, no hate for this, just a solid
appreciation....will buy some for Christmas gifts!

Cheers
