From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter via the brewery. This nice imperial pours a
dark brownish black with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin wafting layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of subtle bourbon, faint oak,
light coffee, and dark roasted malts dashed with vanilla and maple. Flavors surpass
the nose with mellow bourbon, strong coffee, moderate char, deep roast, light dark
chocolate, oak, and light vanilla. Mouth feel is medium full leaning towards full, smooth,
lightly warming, light carbonation, and finishing moderately dry.
Overall, a solid little brew!
