Copenhagen 10/8 2020. 33 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Drawing of a very strange group picture on the can.
Pours unclear golden amber with a medium-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet odor of malts mingling with boozy fermentation and a sharp sour scent. Caramel, biscuits. Mango, papaya and alcohol. Grape fruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by an almost just as strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and fermented with a bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Intense and powerful Spaniard. Quite sweet and boozy but not without balance.

A very good beer. Although it is a style that I hate, I must admit that this beer is very good, with personality. I will continue following this beef factory.
