Pours an opaque, bright orange coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of orange juice with a hint of tropical fruit: mango, pineapple. Taste is very bright and juicy, being dominated by quite zesty citrus notes of grapefruit, orange and lime. with the merest hint of tropical notes of pineapple and mango as well. Not a trace of malt to this. Finishes with no perceiveable bitterness, but a light sweetness that quickly gets overshadowed by a strong citric acidity. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.
This is the perfect beer if you'd really rather be drinking orange juice and I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way. Brewing a 3.5% Session IPA that is this hoppy and juicy without that typical chalky note that similar beers tend to display is actually quite impressive, yet this is obviously not going to be for everyone. Incredible mouthfeel for the ABV as well.
