16 oz can from Tavour. Hazy, milky pour, fluffy head, clumpy lacing. Juicy citrus aroma. Taste is more citrus, grapefruit peel. Tang is equal part citrus zest and fruity hop bitterness. First thought was bitter, but this is actually quite juicy

Drank from the can like a bad or lazy ass. Not as strong IPA hop bitterness but still very balanced. More citrus than fruit but body is medium to heavy this beer is a very balanced DIPA I would have again.

One of the best hazy’s I’ve had. Juicy hoppy goodness. Trust me.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent local release. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an outstanding NEDIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; amazingly soft feel. Feels like Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.

A: Pours an extremely murky + a little milky dark golden burnt orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and moderate copper + honey + bright yellow + bright orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy tropical/mango, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/lime, tropical/honeydew melon, and tropical/pineapple hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + wheat + oat + honey malts with light to moderate amounts of honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + wheat + oat + honey malts with light to moderate amounts of honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/lime, tropical/honeydew melon, and tropical/pineapple hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades quickly leaving lingering melon + citrus + tropical hop flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a really soft pleasant mouthfeel. Very enjoyable with a slightly different but quite delicious hop profile. I could easily have another of these.

A: The beer is very hazy pale dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving lots of lacy rings of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melons are present in the nose along with hints of mango and pineapple. Notes of green apples also start to peek through as the beer warms up a bit.
T: The taste follows the smell, starting out with flavors of honeydew melons and having flavors of limes and green apples with hints of mangos and pineapple.
M: It feels medium-bodied, a little smooth and rather juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems like it would be classified as an Imperial New England IPA if there was such a style.
