Aroma is cocoa/chocolate, vinous/hint of scotch and faint vinegar. The flavor is cocoa/milk chocolate, dark/roasted malts and an acidic/slightly smoky finish.

Look: It pours very dark brown with a dark brown head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has a chocolate aromas with cocoa and some roast.
Taste: It has strong chocolate flavors with cocoa and dark chocolate. There are some roasted elements with some cherry elements.
Feel: It has a medium full body with some sweetness in the finish.
Overall, a nice chocolate bomb of a beer.

Huge head production, but it quickly fizzes out, fading to absolutely nothing. Some lively tiny bubbles on the edge of the glass, but otherwise a very lifeless appearance. Some small chunkies, likely chocolate.
I'm expecting chocolate on the nose, and it indeed delivers, but also carries strong and slightly sharp notes of prune and grape. Other aromas include toffee, caramel, honeycomb, peanut, and fairly noticeable alcohol heat.
A bit of sting to the feel, and as with the nose, some alcohol heat. The fizzy head portends a flatter feel, and this is the case - not completely lifeless, but a bit too silky. You can still sip, sit, savor, and chew this one with little difficulty, but there is some acidic burn in the throat on the finish that I wouldn't call pleasant.
Flavor is good. There's some chocolate and mild to moderate sweetness up front. Bitterness seems to come more from the roasted barley than hops. Additional tasting notes include cream, sweet red grape, toffee, and brown sugar. More of the chocolate on the finish, a bit powdery and bitter. Mild and slightly metallic nuttiness on the very finish, along with more cream; those, along with the aforementioned burn, are the lingering impressions.
Overall, this is a decent brew, but it's fairly underwhelming. Flavor profile is fairly limited, especially considering a near-10% ABV milk stout with chocolate. The burn and mouthfeel are a disappointment, as well. I'm enjoying it enough, but I can't really justify high marks.
*Second can. The first can exploded upon opening, and what little remained was completely flat and undrinkable. The only difference in experience was the first can was at room temperature, this time somewhere in between refrigerator and cellar temperature. Buyer beware.*

From a 16oz can dated 7/11/22. Brewed and canned by the Twelve Percent Project. Label describes this brew as an Imperial Milk Stout. Inky-black pour with a chocolate-colored head that dissipates quickly. Coffee-tinged chocolate nose and palate. A little heat on the finish. Not bad at all.
