It's carbonated..so there's that. Beyond that, this is just a slightly higher priced piss than the other stuff here. If used, any Cascade hops have been utterly wasted.

A – Clear pale amber colour from kilned malts with small rocky head that dies off pretty quickly and leaves mild cover with plenty of CO2 activity in the glass.
S – A lot of grain smells, malt front with no hops.
T – Mild sweet malt flavour and some tiny bitter hop back. Beyond that nothing.
MF – Mild CO2 tingle a little thin and slightly drying back end.
O – This goes down very easily and my Dutch father-in-law loves it. I on the other hand find it a little dull; however as this beer is a Pilsner I have to remind myself that it is not going to be packed with flavour. It should be crisp, malty and refreshing and I have to say it does tick off all three of those boxes so I guess it is doing a fine job of being a Pilsner.

This is a new offering from the brewery that brews the best mass produced Lager in this country in my opinion. This one is a variant according to marketing information it was developed by the young brewers of the company. They claim to use Cascade and Columbus hops as stated on the label. I guess in the eyes of a mass producing European company American hops make it young and fresh and hip.
I will not go into detail as this is just a regular Pilsener with no special or remarkable taste or aroma. I guess I wouldn't be able to distinguish it from the regular Grolsch though I think that the Pilsener malt is a tad sweeter and the hop bitterness also a bit elevated. I do not know where they put the American hops as I am not able to taste them at all. If I hadn't read the label, I would think that this is regular noble hops as it is used in a regular Pilsener in continental Europe.
