Bitter, toasty, and smooth. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good dark local brew. This is a timeless beer done well. Very appreciative to have this brewery in town and products sold at the local liquor store.

Deep black in color with a small, tan head. Surprising amount of roast in the aroma and flavor which is unusual for beers today where everything has to be sweet and fruity. Dry and bitter just like a stout should be. A little bit of grass and herbs from the hops. Very traditional and I like it.
