"It looks like a Chuck, let's call it Chuck."
It has been said that a Brown Ale is a trusty beer for everyone. We couldn’t agree more and we wanted to make one that was good for any season. Chuck Brown is a medium-full body ale that comes off soft with flavors of fresh bread crust and hints of caramel and roastiness. It's super smooth and good grief is it easy to drink.
OG: 14.0ºP

Pours a deep dark brown; slightly off white leaning light light brown head. Amazing retention; include picture of above, a dense creamy cap that just never left. Some great lacing too.
Aroma is lightly burnt toast, faint hoppiness, coffee undertones, and a woodiness to it.
Taste is very roasty; it also reminds me of a fruity coffee, like Ethiopian.
Medium body, incredibly creamy feel to it, slightly roast driven bitterness and just the slightest acidity, not sour by any means but just a hint that makes one think of cherry.
This beer is very enjoyable is very subtle and when it was cold not much was there. As it warmed more notes came out; the creamy head and great mouthfeel make this a really tasty beer for me.

Draught pint at The Brass Tap here in Baltimore. Nice slightly murky brown, reminiscent of a dunkel, with an off white ring & limited lacing. Whiff of roast grain. Taste & feel like a lighter porter with perhaps more carbonation. Not a bad choice even for a hot summer day.

Poured from a crowler into a pint glass. Pours dark red with a small light brown head. smells of darker roasted grain, with hints of caramel and chocolate. Tastes of darker grain with slight fruity notes. beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

Really tasty brown ale. Pours a medium brown with moderate head and lacing. Aroma and flavor are baked bread, caramel, toasted malt, and a slight spiciness. Great example of the style. Nothing fancy, just an all-around solid beer.
