Juicy, hazy beers are all the rage these days and as it turns out, the craze for haze started right in our back yard. Of course, we needed to make a super juicy and flavorful tropical version! Malty wheat, silky oats, and honey malts form the body of Haze and a healthy dose of American and New Zealand hops lend unique tropical aromas. And at 6.2%, its an easy drink to enjoy, and absolutely perfect for those summer days on the bay.

(31 days old) Standard haze. Fresh and juicy, slightly sweet aroma. This beer brings out the citrusy side of Citra. Plus some lemony notes from the Motueka. Enjoying the slightly dank, lightly bitter finish. For a 6.2% "pale ale," this delivers a lot of flavor.

From a can into a pint glass.
A pale hazy yellow/orange pour with a nice foamy 1 finger head and waterfall lacing.
Grapefruit and citrus tropicals dominate the flavor profile. Hints of persimmon as well.
There is a slight bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
A little more like a NEIPA than a Pale Ale, but pretty good.

Very orange in color, medium body slightly hoppy. Large citrus presence in taste with a soft aftertaste. Smell is very faint but pleasant. Hops present themselves in initial sip until citrus flavors overwhelm.

16 ounce can poured into a villi Beecher.
Hazy yellow-orange with a some suspended yeast sediment and a resilient white head. Aroma is sweet citrus, tangerine like, and mango. The flavor is a bland version of the nose, weak but not bad. Bitterness is mild. The body has just enough weight for me to call medium and is soft-ish finishing with a little bite. For me it lacks flavor but is a decent enough brew, refreshing and easy drink.

Hazy orange/gold appearance with a soapy white head, good retention, and decent lacing. Fruity, orange, pineapple, peach. Full body, moderate carbonation, creamy mouthfeel.
