The third installment of our excessively long named sour beer series that won a silver medal at the MD Craft Beer awards. Soured in the kettle with our house culture of lactobacillus and conditioned upon hundreds of pounds of boysenberries and blueberries. Fruit was added at two different stages of the process to maximize both the berries tartness and sweet juicy flavors. Featuring wild color, clean tartness and a perfect balance of fruit.

This is a solid fruited kettle sour. Pours a nice purple/blue and has plenty of jammy berry aroma and flavor. Not complex at all but it does a nice job being what it tries to be.

On tap at Smoke & Barrel in D.C.

Pours a vivid dark pirple with soft, pink foam.

Smell is tart and juicy with notes of berries and youghurt.

Taste is softly sour, with lots of berries and youghurt and a dash of lime and lemon peel. Very refreshing.

Mouthfeel is medium and creamy, with sparkling carbonation.

Overall, a very nice kettle sour with good balance and lots of berries.
