Full-bodied & malty lager
Grab your lederhosen!
Our traditional German Marzen is brewed with Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts for a full body, hopped delicately with noble hops, and fermented cool with Munich lager yeast. Prost!

Not a lot new to report here. It is attractive and tasty so it has that going for it. Hops dialed up a little more than several other marzens I've had recently. Like the mouthfeel. Overall, enjoyable in an unassuming way.

16 ounce draft pour into a tulip pint glass at the brewery.
L: Amber-copper, very clear and lively, 1” off-white head , some lace, foam has creamy consistency, fades to perpetual foam cap in a couple of minutes.
S: Malty bread and spice, noble hops, mineral aroma later.
T: Caramel and toasted malt, lightly sweet to open, some cracked corn flavor, woody hops, assertive bitterness, woody/floral aftertaste.
F: Medium-weight body, but highly carbonated crisp feel lightens it a bit, crisp right through, bite doesn’t allow creaminess to develop.
O: Decent, maybe a touch on the hoppy side but not egregious, especially for and American Marzen, but enjoyable, ABV keeps it from being as drinkable as i would like.

Updated rating (16 oz can poured into a tulip pint glass): Bumped up the ratings overall. Great color, nice head retention and lacing. I love the smooth, full mouthfeel and toasty deep caramel malt notes.
Original review: 5 oz pour on tap. Definitely a marzen (not festbier) color. Nice and malty with some toasted caramel sweetness and a nice amount of citrus/floral hops. Solid. 3.81
