"We would like to introduce you to our newest #hazeboi, full of citrusy orange-infused cloudy refreshment. No, it’s not another New England IPA, this is a Belgian-style Witbier! Brewed with a soft base of Pilsner, Vienna, and creamy white wheat malts, and hopped lightly with Mandarina Bavaria hops. We utilized our hopback to infuse the brew with zesty Curacao & sweet orange peel, and coriander seed for fragrant citrus aromas and flavors. Fermented on juicy tangerine puree with a traditional Belgian Witbier yeast for a mildly tart, slightly phenolic, and refreshing Spring brew."
25.4 oz crowler split with my wife, poured into a tulip pint glass for me and a tulip glass for her (okay, I got more than she did). Pours a golden orange with a fluffy head that fades to a thin foam cap. Aroma and flavor are typical Belgian witbier - coriander, clove, and a hint of banana with some orange (more in the aroma than the flavor). More bitter than expected, otherwise the taste would be a 4. Dry mouthfeel, fairly high carbonation. Overall it's solid but not spectacular.
