Hear the one about the cherries that walked into a pie shop? Well here’s the punchline! Brewed with graham crackers, lactose, marshmallows, Madagascar vanilla beans and pie spices, then soured in the kettle with our mythical house lactobacillus culture for a refreshingly juicy tartness. Fermented with a double dose of sweet and tart cherry puree for pronounced fruitiness and zesty acidity. Freshly baked flavors of jammy cherry pie filling, creamy vanilla, and pie spices. Sip this sour responsibly!

16 oz can poured into a snifter. Pours a beautiful reddish brown with a moderate pinkish head that mostly fades. Decent retention. Aroma is tart cherries, pie spices, and some wheat/graham cracker. Flavor is similar and puckering with an incredible sour/sweet balance and just enough spice/graham cracker character to make this taste like pie without being too much. The vanilla and marshmallow must be adding something but thankfully they don't dominate either. Mouthfeel is full, viscous, sticky, and moderately carbonated and not cloying at all. My favorite Crooked Crab to date and as good as any Burley Oak JREAM. I could drink this beer every day.
