Clear reddish amber with a fairly large off white head. Soapy aroma, not overpowering just a distraction. Turns a bit more traditional in the toasted malt sense as it rests. Flavor stays focused on a hearty malt body with a few layers of sweetness. Noble hops add balance. Light bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel.

Starts off pretty nice, good to style color and very clear. The carb comes out pretty quick and builds fast, then settles quick. No lacing, some bigger bubble islands is all that remains.
Smell at first had a noticeable macro lager smell to it; I’m never sure how to describe it but I know the smell. There is a slight hop presence and just a touch of bread.
Taste has a slightly toasted popcorn like taste to it, but there is also a pretty nice baked bread taste to it. More noticeable than I expected from the nose; a toasty aftertaste.
Light body, smooth on the palette, no bitterness, a little bit of lingering sweetness.

16 oz can poured into a snifter. An extremely flavorful and creamy Vienna lager. Lots of toasted malt, dry biscuit, and a hint of toasted caramel along with a kiss of noble hops. Easy to drink and it leaves me wishing I had more than one can. Crooked Crab should do more classic brews like this - their standard cream ale and brown ale are also excellent, btw.
