Do you have an unquenchable thirst from scaling the slopes of Mordor? Satisfy it with a refreshing Pils-Boh Baggins, our first ever Bohemian Pilsner. Brewed with Pilsner and Vienna malts for crisp clean drinkability and +5 charisma! Fermented colder than the peaks of the Misty Mountains with a traditional Czech lager yeast, then hopped exclusively with Lublin for a delicate floral spicy noble hop character. Drink responsibly because you have a long journey ahead of you.

A can poured into a stem-less snifter.
Straw colored pour with high clarity, and a head that dissipates fairly rapidly and leaves a little lacy. Mild floral nose, light bodied.
Enjoyable toasted Pilsner malt flavor and earthy hops.

A near clear straw color with a nice, sustaining white head. Nose and taste are both light in magnitude, but not bad. A little floral in the nose, the flowers bloom and become slightly fruity in the taste. There is a spicy grass aspect to both, coming out later in the taste. The flavor includes a somewhat metallic note I get in some Euro imports; whether that’s good or bad is an internal debate. It is a pretty light, somewhat watery beer, which is the thing that drags it down a bit for my overall enjoyment.

Pilsner season is almost over but this is a new one for me, so down the hatch. Big nose with a fresh bread note sprinkled with hints of spicy hopping. Big head, but it doesn't last. Stiff texture helps the hops shine through. A little unusual in a pilsner to see hops best malt so clearly. I think I kind of like it but will have to revisit.

16 draft pour into a tulip pint glass at the brewery.
L: Very clear and effervescent, straw in color, one finger white head is creamy thick and lasting, good lace.
S: Light spicy hop aroma, only light whiffs of barley malt.
T: Light bread malt grain hints at sweetness, mostly dry and fairly sharp, spicy and floral hop flavor, bitterness is moderate to assertive, aftertaste is a touch grassy.
F: Light body, highly carbonated, very crisp, a little astringent.
O: Decent Pils, not much to complain about though the malt profile may be on the weak side.

Clear straw, thin white head, retention is wanting, not much in the way of lace
Herbal hop aroma, a bit of bready malt underneath
Tastes like it smells, crisp bitterness on the finish
Light bodied, could use more carbonation
Not that great, needs more malt presence and carbonation

Clear pale gold body under a large white head that left good lacing. Subtle aroma of light toast and floral hops. First few sips provided a solid, malt focused taste before sharing the spotlight with an array of noble hops. Finished clean and crisp, befitting the style. Medium bodied, well carbonated, moderately bitter mouthfeel. Overall, a satisfying, well made local product.

16 oz can poured into a tulip pint glass. Pours a clear effervescent pale yellow. Spotty lacing. Aroma and flavor feature spicy/grassy hops and a biscuity malt backbone. Mouthfeel has average carbonation. Overall, a great summer beer and a true-to-style Bohemian pilsner.
