Big, bold and hop forward. This king crab is brewed with an all you can eat buffet of silky smooth oats, soft wheat, and hopped with a jumbo dose of fruity Nelson, Mosaic, and Motueka.

16 oz can poured into a willi becher. Pours a hazy creamy yellow with a large off-white head. Nice retention and lacing. Aroma and flavor feature sweet tropical fruit, lots of wheat, and a bit more alcohol burn than I was expecting. Mouthfeel is a little bit hot and green (from the hops). Overall it's a decent (D)NEIPA but not one of the better ones from Crooked Crab.
