Rich and full bodied. English-style barleywine brewed with spices and aged for 11 months in Apple Brandy & Bourbon barrels to compliment the malty-sweetness and warming spice. Perfect for sipping by the fire!

500 ml bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours a slightly turbid medium reddish-brown with a light tan head. Aroma and flavor feature holiday spices, bourbon, sweet caramel malt, and dried fruit soaked with brandy. Mouthfeel is smooth and not overly boozy. To me this drinks much more like an imperial/BA winter warmer than a BA barleywine. Overall a great cold-weather brew.
