Robust, malty & smooth. This robust little fella was brewed with heaps of flaked coconut, Ecuadorian cacao, and Madagascar vanilla beans. Jam packed with silky oats, chocolaty roasted malts, and creamy lactose for a full body and rich flavor.

16 oz can poured into a red wine glass. Pours pitch black with a voluptuous tan head. Aroma and flavor feature sweet coconut, vanilla, semisweet chocolate, dark roasted malts, with hints of caramel flan and cafe con leche. Very well-balanced, tons of flavor for a mere 5% abv stout. Not overly sweet, with some of the best coconut flavor I've ever experienced (in a beer or otherwise). Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated and not thin. Overall a great German Chocolate Cake stout.

Dark brown appearance, light tan head, decent retention, little lacing. Sweet notes of coconut and vanilla, mild chocolate, almond. Medium body, light carbonation.
