Hazy, hoppy, & tropical. Collab with our buds at Downtown Crown. This king crab was brewed with an all you can eat feast of silky-smooth oats and hopped with a high density hop charge of luscious Citra Incognito, Citra Cryo, & Nelson Sauvin CGX for an explosion of sweet tropical fruits, fresh crushed gooseberries, white grape, & a touch of dank.

Had can pour at Crooked Crab (Spring 2024) while on Birthday Beer Safari w/ Deb.
Very attractive yellow body with a very full pillowy white head that left excellent lacing and a bright white halo. Creamy but not really smooth brew. Perhaps canned vs tap. nose and taste but this particular blend of Citra and Nelson just seemed a bit conflicting between the tropical fruit and the drier bitter gooseberries and darkness. Very good but probably not what I’d rush to again.
Overall though an exceptionally well made brew. Kudos!

16 oz can dated 3-26-2024, poured into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy creamy yellow color with a large head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma and flavor feature gooseberries, honeydew, and passionfruit with orange and wheat. Mouthfeel is a bit too sharp and prickly, but otherwise this is excellent.
