Robust, malty & smooth. This stout little sorcerer was brewed with hearty Maris Otter malt, chocolaty roasted barley, and a pinch of bready rye malt for a full body and rich flavor that will raise the spirits.

Multiple 4pks of 16oz cans over the last two months picked up at the (Arundel) Preserve Wine & Spirits: I continue to be impressed by Crooked Crab. This is another strong example of their work.

6 oz draft pour at the brewery. Appearance is opaque and near-black. Smallish tan head. Aroma and flavor feature roasty malt with hintsof cocoa and coffee, plus a whiff of earthy noble hops. Mouthfeel is slightly thin but doesn't detract. Overall a tasty foreign export stout!
