Smooth, rich & complex. Malty German-style lager brewed with dark Munich malts and hopped with noble Hallertau hops for a surprisingly smooth rich flavor and superior drinkability.

16 oz can poured into a nonic pint glass. Pours a medium chestnut brown color with a mocha-colored head which fades away, leaving no lacing. Aroma and flavor feature cocoa, coffee, roasted malt, nuttiness, and earthy hops with a touch of citrus. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with average carbonation. Overall an excellent dunkel.

16 ounce side pull draft pour into dimpled mug at the brewery.
L: 2 finger creamy off white head, dark brown pour showing some light around edges, dense foam has good retention, plenty of lace.
S: Weak nose, roasted and caramel malt.
T: Roasty with medium bitterness, just enough caramel sweetness to cut the bitterness, semi-dry.
F: Good carbonation, medium-weight body, smooth with a crisp finish.
O: Decent Dunkel.
