From can, BB 5/2//2025.

Poured into a pint glass, thick head that receded fast. Caramel color, nose is biscuits. Taste is biscuits up front with bitterness that lasts beyond the initial biscuit taste. Some honey, but not dominant. Finishes with that cloying bitterness.

Honestly, better than I expected.

12oz can. Stamped on can bottom is 'BEST BEFORE 05/19/23'.
Clear, amber brown colored body. One finger of off white head settles back to a skim cap and ring. No lacing.
Aroma of toasted malts and floral honey sweetness.
Taste is toasted malts, caramel, green apple, and sweet floral honey. Malts, apple, and honey in the aftertaste.
Fuller mouth feel that is robust. Gets sweet but not too sweet (does not cause tooth ache). Okay carbonation.
Refreshing and somewhat crisp, with a pleasant malt and honey combination.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours deep red orange with a tiny off white head. Smells of caramelized grain and honey. Tastes of caramelized grain, fresh fruit, and honey. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Really nice bock from another Duluth/Superior brewery that is not afraid to showcase the bock style in this day in age when they are getting harder to find from local breweries.

Pours a deep copper color with average clarity...

This fits the bill nicely as a honey bock. Sweet, sticky honey along with toasted malts...hints of caramel as well. Body is medium to medium/full. It's not balanced but it probably is not meant to be. "Honey Bock" says it all. Straddles the line a little on the cloying end but never goes past it.

It was a crowd pleaser. Everyone I shared my crowlers with loved it. I agree. Very enjoyable.
