Unique color, deep orangish purple, good initial head, but minimal lacing
Not much in the nose, basic grain
Muted everything, basic lager with slight notes in the finish of bready biscuit and maybe maybe if I squint some watery blueberry in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel leans towards the thin
It was in their summer beer mix pack, and it works fine on that level, but is way less memorable than the name would suggest. Nothing unpleasant but pretty basic.

12 oz can bb4 9/3/24 into a Becker glass.
L: SRM 5 Pours a murky purple/rusty red color with a thin white head that recedes quickly to very thin edge fizz, very steady carbonation, almost no lacing.
S: Light vinous berries, grains.
T: Muted berry, distant dirty honey, a note of grains. It is gently tart & sharp and has a hint of bready malts in the finish.
F: Zippy, wet, and not creamy at all. Even the finish is fizzy and is jet dry.
O: This is a strange berry beer and is plainly not very balanced nor does it have good tasting berries and honey. The feel is off-style and is wild. It's kind of a mess. This brewery offers much better beer. This one, well within the freshness window, unfortunately is poor in its style.

L-Light purple color..
S-Unremarkable,,,light berries..
T-Subtle which is good and a nice blend of honey, cream and blueberries...artificial blueberry flavor but it comes together ok..
F-Medium bodied...lower carbonation..
O-Not bad for a fruit beer...much more dialed down in sweetness and intensity compared to Leinie Berry Weiss and that's good. The danger with a beer like this is going overboard with the sugary sweetness....that is not the case here....decent beer...
