Take a trip to the countryside with our classic German farmhouse ale. Pale gold in color with a hint of honey, a pleasing grassiness and a floral hop aroma, this bucolic beer celebrates the simplicity of a slower way of life.

At the brewery, served in a willibecher, looks very nice, slightly hazy orange gold, little white crown that subsides quickly. Nose is rustic lager yeast, mild grassy hops, kind of wet hay and bready malts. Taste follows the nose, but better, brighter notes. There’s also some honey in there, and maybe some graham cracker. Fairly high carb. Solid body, especially considering the abv. Great little autumnal beer.

Pours medium hazy gold under a 1" off-white cap with good retention. The aroma is a little yeasty with a faint race of fruit, some light malts and a moderate dose of hops with some grass and floral notes. An initial honey notes with a hint of fruit gives way to well developed malt flavors and finish with a moderate bitter accent. The body and carbonation are medium. the well developed malt flavors make this beer stand out.

My Comments: It's a ale but sure looks and drinks like a keller lager. It's kinda hazy. smells good. I had it at the taproom. Bought a crowler for home.
taste is lemon, grass, some floral notes. micro amount of honey. maybe some bread or grain malt. I like it. nice hot weather beer
